"I get very passionate about what I think is right."-Hillary Rodham Clinton

Will it ever get better

Senator George LeMieux has gotten my attention.

Talk about anemic response…I think it is appalling that FEMA has not been activated. Seems like a “big” enough disaster for me. One thing I have noticed is the propensity for all the gov people/officials to pass pretty much everything off to BP. I went to the FEMA site, and found a small link to “Oil Spill Guidance” stating that “If you have been affected by the oil spill go to http://www.disasterassistance.gov for guidance.” Which by the way will take you to a site with a picture of a boat and one of those oil booms…and a link to a page that states “File a claim with BP” so this is just another site that will pass the affected “little people” over to yet another site… the BP website with a statement…

“BP deeply regrets the spill that has occurred in the Gulf of Mexico as a result of the Deepwater Horizon Incident. BP takes full responsibility for responding to the Deepwater Horizon Incident”

Is there some sort of legal precedent that if they started actually doing the cleanup and taking the initiative and do something, and by they I mean the local, state and federal governments, does this take the legal responsibility off of BP?

And one more thing, I just heard from a pilot flying for BP, taking out Fed Wildlife Agency folks out to count the dead animals… apparently BP gets fined for each dead animal, $2,500 for each pelican, $100,000 for each dolphin etc., now BP has halted the search teams to only 3 hours a day. Because, as BP states…for safety reasons, too many planes and helicopter in the air during the day. This is bullshit. They are regulating when the fed agents can do the “dead counting” so they can get to those animals first.

It is so damn sickening and frustrating

When talking about the racist president in the White House… (and I still can’t believe a year later that turd of a man is the president.) Whether, it be Asshole or Shithole, both words describe both his personality and outlook on and to humanity. Well, I should place a caveat there and state […]

Yeah, that image above is perfect. That about puts my family’s emotional state on display, “Fuck it all  Man.” My mom’s cancer is back and if you remember, surgery was not an option because of her blood issues and problems with anti-bodies…and chemotherapy was difficult because she could not tolerate the medicine cocktail that was […]
  • Sunday Reads: Make This Weird
Do you think some people consciously start the day saying something like that to themselves? It’s going to get weird…I’m going to make this weird. I think tRump surrounds himself with people who have that sentence as their mantra… I would say that tRump also makes this his chosen path to follow, but I am […]
  • Wednesday Reads: Between a Rock, a Cock and a Hard Place
Which way do you go? That is one tough decision… At any rate, things are getting bad over in the Northeastern United States. I mean, when sharks are becoming “sharkcicles,” it is time to take these cold mutthafukken temperatures for serious. Sharks are freezing to death in the US, due to a record cold winter […]
  • Sunday Reads: New Year 2018
Hell yes, it is time for another fucking year to roll around. So let us start the party early with this kickass artwork by surreal artist Surazica. There is something about that poodle’s attitude that grabbed my attention. You can scroll through some close-ups here: I don’t know what 2018 will bring, but I do […]

Its dark green, glossy leaves shaded politicians and heads of […]
