But one fact is clear: The combination of summer hypoxia and toxic-oil impacts on mortality, spawning and recruitment is a one-two punch that could seriously diminish valuable Gulf commercial and recreational fisheries…

All I can say to that is…no shit! But one thing that gets me is the large amount of people that slip through the cracks. These are the ones that really need some sort of assistance. Those of us that are right at the borderline of qualifying for healthcare. (Cause 2014 is a long way away for some of us.) These are the people at most risk. The ones that do not have healthcare, but are making just over the cutoff to receive Medicaid…these are the ones who can’t afford health insurance, but need it desperately.
